I’ve been behind the lens professionally for over 10 years, first in my second home of Austin, TX, and now, back in Northern VA.
With deep awe for God’s beautiful handiwork all around me, I see people and everyday things as elevated works of art. My eye lingers where most people’s move on, finding stories in quiet details that often slip past unnoticed until the decisive click of the shutter freezes them in time. My mind is always composing—instinctively framing the moments passing by.

As an experienced event photographer, I bring a refined, observant eye to every setting—capturing not only the major moments, but also the quiet, genuine interactions that give each event its unique character. My work is rooted in storytelling, elegance, and authenticity, creating imagery that feels alive rather than simply recorded.

For seven years, I was deeply immersed in photographing dancers as the exclusive studio photographer for a ballet and contemporary dance school in Austin. I learned to understand the nuance of dance technique and anticipate the smallest details—the arc of a grande jeté , the delicate articulation of fingers at the end of a port de bras — like a whispered punctuation, and the dancer’s focus settling in at the barre. Through my lens, I strive to capture these fleeting details, honoring not just the shapes and lines, but the invisible poetry that live between each step. I hope to continue this aspect of my work with dance companies in Northern Virginia, and extend my services to theater companies as well.

Austin’s music culture is woven into every corner of the city—from iconic venues like The Continental Club and Emo’s to newer stages such as Moody Theater. From the moment you step off the plane into the airport, the vibrant energy is unmistakable.
During the years I lived there, I often found myself humbled that my photography was embraced by the music industry, becoming a significant part of my career. I was fortunate to work with the Austin Music Awards during several SXSW festivals, with Grammy award winnings artists, see my images featured on album covers, and watch them illuminate the massive outdoor screens at ACL Live at Moody Theater downtown.
For that momma of little ones at home who always felt like a fish out of water, the musicians welcomed me with open arms. They invited me into their studios, allowed me to witness the creative process of music being made, brought me into intimate rehearsals, and shared meals with me at local spots—Vietnamese noodle bowls and all!
Those years deeply influenced me, enhancing both my creativity and technical skills. I’m profoundly grateful for the friendships made and the experiences that still feel like a once-in-a-lifetime gift.
Now that I’m back in one of the cultural capitals of the world, home to distinguished music and arts destinations hosting musicians and artists from around the world, I’m excited to see where my music photography takes me next!
