Hi there

I am a photographer based in Austin,TX. After escaping Vietnam with my family when I was a toddler, I’ve spent most of my life in the Northern Virginia area outside of Washington D.C, but have also been shaped by my time living in Southern California where I graduated from Pepperdine University. I credit the colorful and diverse culture of Austin for shaping my creativity and signature style. My work has been featured by Billboard, Univision, NPR, Austin American Statesman, Austin Monthly, on record albums, and national food labels. My clients have included award winning musicians and producers, local entrepreneurs, non-profits, and countless families across Austin.

I am so grateful to all the people who have inspired me and supported my work over the past eight years. I’ve been told by friends who knew me back in the day that I was always taking photographs in my head even before I had a camera in my hands. And it’s true. I look at life through frames and clicks and appreciate  the little things that truly deserve their own moment in a photograph. When I’m not taking photos you can find me in the garden or the kitchen cooking up something for my family, binging YouTube, or cuddling with my English Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Mr. Tater Tot. I love learning new things and have had many hobbies over the years. My current obsession is hand-building and throwing pottery.

My ultimate dream is to travel the world photographing daily life, faces, and local food discoveries. And just putting this out there - I wouldn’t mind at all if, one day, an amazing chef asks me to collaborate on a cookbook:-)
